binning 32Bits QHY600MPro

Issue #972 wontfix
deneb Cygnus created an issue

Hello
I have a QHY600M Pro camera.
The manufacturer has the ability to perform a 2x2 binning at 18 bits, a 3x3 binning at 19 bits and a 4x4 binning at a resolution of 20 bits.
I believe that QHY in the latest versions already have this option activated, but I think that NINA does not support the download of the 32 Bit RAW shot.
Is there a possibility to enable capture in 32-bit resolution so that I can activate the QHY SDK at a higher bit depth?
Can this update be queued?
I use NINA for exoplanet photometry as the advanced sequence setting is super powerful and I use Binning to improve signal / noise.
Thank you for your great work.

I’ve looked into this already, having a QHY600M Pro and QHY268M myself. There are a lot of parts of NINA that need to be changed in order to accommodate 32bit pixel values, as there is a universal assumption throughout the app that maximum pixel values are unsigned short integers (16 bit, 0-65535). So this is not a light task to accomplish. We are in the final approach to beta for 1.11 so it is likely that such an initiative will need to wait until a future development cycle. I also have given QHY some feedback on the way 32bit output is enabled and managed in the SDK that I would like to see before moving forward on such an initiative.

I think it can be complex to implement 32 bit.
but i'm glad to know you're behind the change, Dale.
In my case it will be a great improvement that will speed up the photometry results a lot.
    Thank you.
