This documentation guide describes the use of buttons and functionality in the TRON machine. Some functions in the TRON machine have been given additional guides, which are linked in this document. This documentation starts with the most basic functionality of the TRON machine (settings preferences) and progressively goes more in depth (options during process).

Note: There are keyboard shortcuts for some functions of the TRON Machine. On windows, the hotkey (held before pressing a letter on the keyboard) is the Control key. On Mac, it is the Command key.

Preferences

The Preferences pop-up allows the user to set all values to be used during a run of the TRON machine. While the TRON machine is running, the current values for settings can be viewed but cannot be edited. The TRON machine must be cancelled in order to edit preferences. To access the Preferences pop-up, perform one of the following:

• In the menu bar at the top, File > Preferences
• Press Hotkey+P

You will need to access the Preferences before your first run of the TRON machine. The TRON machine produces output files and needs to know where you would like them stored. It cannot be run without this information. There is likely quite a few other pieces of information you may want to change in the Preferences, but at the minimum, you must set an Output folder.
