I really need Feedback to know how to improve the game !


Question 1: Keep or not the 2d Isometric grid system

I have managed to get the 2d grid system working but it is not perfect.

Since version 0.6.A almost all overlapping have been removed, but the movements are still not that smooth.

Do you want to remove it ?

the solutions would be:

  • A) Keep the 2d isometric 2d grid system

One of the advantage of keeping the 2d grid system would be to have a 2d Rpg gameplay like Dofus or Fallout1 within a month.

I will also add some labyrinth type of scenes (like search all the furnitures until you found this item)

If you don't care about gameplay and only care about Image Quality and dialogue options i guess you don't mind removing this feature.

The disadvantages would be:

Cost time to make sprites, so less time to do renders or images.

Depending on your config you may find the 2d grid system buggy.

  • B)Convert to a 2d grid system like Pokemon or Zelda with pokemon-like sprites. (no more overlapping)

  • C) Remove the grid system and have an HD image with Bubbles on it.

The image will show where you are (in your bedroom, kitchen, Classroom, shop ...).

The Bubbles will be located at specific coordinates (furniture, door, character)

Clicking the bubble will activate the item (start dialogue with character if clicking character Bub, move to another Scene if clicking Door Bub)


Question 2: Stay realistic or have some Fantastic elements.

I was wondering if people would rather have a realistic storyline or not.

The fantastic storyline will add this:

During the first day, you find a ring that will make you uncuncious.

You wake up in a new realm where a Succubus demon has taken control of your soul.

In the Succubus Realm, animated sequences with Possession and body Growth(for the Succubus, not the player) will happen.

Big story short you wake up as the succubus slave (that is why you are now a perv), you need to do perv stuff during the day.

At night when you sleep you go back to the succub realm.

A gameplay system with how many PervPoints you have done during the day may be implemented but it will cost some extra time to do that.

If this sytem is implemented, a test will occur during your sleep with at least 3 possibilities (not enought Points, enought Points, or far too much Points), but it will cost time to make the images for all the possibilities so the game will be a little shorter

So, please choose one possibility:

  • A) Realistic gameplay

  • B) Succubus without PervPoints System

  • C) Succubus with PervPoints System


Question 3: Dialog restriction choices or not.

Should i use dialogs restriction choices or not?

Having dialog restriction choice will make the choices you make during the dialog quite important. Picking one possibilitie will make the other possib disapear.

It will cost more time for i need to makes images for every single possibilities. You won't be abble to see all of them in one single Playthrough.

Meaning you will think my game shorter than it actually is.

Removing the dialog restriction choice will make my game quite straightforward.

But my game will be quite longer because you will get to see all my images.

So, please choose one possibility:

  • A) Keep dialog Restriction

( dialog choices will make the game shorter but will add quite a lot of different Playthrough)

  • B) Remove the Restriction but keep the dialog

(If you have a choice, only one possib is good, all the others are bad choices)

  • C) Remove the Restriction and the choice

(When talking to someone, only one Single line will appear)
