Abyssal Cult blocking the way to Audrey

Before fighting Audrey in Whirl Islands, I thought I'd heal all my pokemon at the pokemon center. Obviously the Abyssal Cult are blocking the only exit, so I decided to use dig to leave the cave. After healing and surfing back to the cave and walking through to Audrey, the Abyssal Cult were still in the way of the hill's entrance and wouldn't let me through to fight Audrey. I encountered this problem on 1.1.5, and even after I patched, and even downloaded the core 1.1.6, they're still there. I've tried refreshing the map but that still doesn't fix the issue.
