Beta 2.0+ - Breaks VeinMiner functionality

Title says it all, really. Tested 2.0 and 2.1 against VeinMiner 0.38.2 r647. With these betas enabled, VeinMiner's functionality completely fails with no particularly clear errors or feedback, it just doesn't work, regardless of any other settings with either mod. The issue is not present with Effortless Building 1.0.2 or prior.

Fixed issue #16 and #17: breaking blocks with Tinkers Hammer and Veinminer. Fixed issue #19: placing lilypads results in a crash.
