The force.com ide currently allows you to generate a destructive changes change set and deploy it. It would be nice if IlluminatedCloud did this as well, as this is the only use case i have left for the force.com ide.

Been planning to do this in conjunction with propagation of deletes. I'll do both of those after I add support for static resource bundles. Thanks for adding the proposal!

It turns out that the implementation of
#32provides the same functionality. -
I think marking this as a duplicate may be a mistake.
When deploying from a sandbox to production instance from inside of the IDE; there needs to be a way to create, update and delete metadata via a single deployment.

Tom, please open a new enhancement request for deployment of heterogeneous operations. This one was just for integration of destructive changes to delete/undeploy metadata.
