License verification is failing suddenly..

Hi Scott. I saw #451 and #427 and not sure if this is my case and how to resolve this. Last Thursday I started to get license verification issues.

I checked with our IT/Sec team and we saw that calls to the license server are made directly and are not using the proxy settings.

I've just update it to 1.7.9.2.

What can I do to resolve this? will ya offline active me? Regards

Hi, Idan. Can you provide your idea.log, or at least the portion of the log where license validation is failing? That will help me understand whether this is a network connectivity issue or some other type of issue. You can get to your log using Help>Show Log in Finder/Explorer. Worst case scenario I can help you perform an offline activation, but let's see if this is something we can resolve before going to that. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Thanks, Idan. Unfortunately I didn't give myself much information to go on there. I want to get you productive again, so let's go ahead and perform an offline activation which should resolve this issue for you for the next 90 days while I work with the third-party vendor to understand why this might be happening. What OS are you using? I'll need to send you an OS-specific binary for offline activation. Hopefully this will be the only time we need to do this...
