Retain user-selectable history of previous deployments/retrievals/removals

Issue #923 new

One killer feature of MavensMate was that when you did a deploy, and did a selection of metadata, it automatically archived that selection. Furthermore if you did multiple deploys, it would save each selection. You could either name them or it would file them by datetime. Best of all: when doing a new deploy, you could easily load any of those archived selections, and either use them as-is, or use them as a starting point for a new selection.

I would love to see something like this in IC. This is extremely useful, because in a large org, making careful selections for a deploy can take hours. You want to make sure you don't lose it and have to start over.

I have found where the selection data lives in the workspace.xml file. And I have started manually making copies of that periodically. Would love to not have to do that.

Thanks!
