Add percentile line option to gadget
The scatter chart gadget (which StonikByte calls a control chart), plots the individual items and the average (arithmetic mean).
The average is often of little value as team process data may not be normally distributed. A better approach would be to make the average line optional, and to add multiple percentile lines, such as at 50%, 85%, and 95%. Ideally the customer would be able to configure the specific percentile and add multiple lines.
Here are two examples of such a scatter plot with percentile using the Kanbanize product, or Jira with the add-on from ActionableAgile:
https://knowledgebase.kanbanize.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000969551-The-Cycle-Time-Scatterplot-
To be very specific, the use case for this enhancement is any team that is using the gadget to monitor cycle time, and who want to see the likelihood that work would finish within a certain amount of time.

repo owner Hi Bill,
Ability to display percentile lines in Control Chart Gadget has been added in versions v1.20.0 (Server/Data Center) and 1.1.31-AC (Cloud) released on 22-SEPT-2020.
More details about functionality and how to configure it can be found in the app documentation: https://bitbucket.org/StonikByte/great-gadgets-add-on/wiki/Home#!control-chart-gadget

Hi @Bill Sheboy ,
Thanks for posting. This is a nice suggestion that we plan to implement soon.
Please note that the average line is already optional (configurable via gadget’s settings).
Thank you,
Danut
