Appearance and Charisma

Appearance and Charisma lose a lot of utility without shops. They may need to be re-balanced. Ideally, shops will be added back to the game.

Since I hadn’t seen a shop in any of the runs I’ve tried since 1.0.0, I was under the impression that shops were removed, but I just found one. It was bugged, but it was there.

Shops are deactivated right now. On which level did you encounter one?

Unfortunately I don’t recall which level I found it - it was fairly early in the game, somewhere between the second floor and the river level. I posted some more details on this issue : “Out of several runs in 1.0.0 I have only run into one shop keeper, but he was bugged. Not only could I not speak with him or sell items, he did not respond when I started picking items up off the ground. After I cleaned the shop out it “restocked” with invisible items. The items were not displayed, but when I stepped on to tiles in the shop they did have items on them and I could interact with them normally.”

Shops are really deactivated for now.
