Floating Picture Frame

This is a weird one. I found a floating picture frame behind a house in town, near a large pile of rock. This picture frame seems to be viewable from one side of an invisible plane (this plane seems to run parallel with the back of the picture frame). Once you cross this plane, the object disappears. It also disappears when you get close to it.
