Resize - Scale

Hello, some little things about the Resize option.

1. Why does the Applies to: option default to Cropped Area when I haven’t made a crop at all? The default should be Applies to Full Image imo.
2. When I choose Scale and set the slider to 2.0 and save the file, the pixel dimensions are still the same. I have to tick Allow upscaling to make this work. What is the use of this? I already said ‘upscale 2x’, so upscale 2 times!
3. When using that scale slider, the values in the PPI= field aren’t updated automatically, I have to change the ppi value (eg. from 300 to 299) to see the actual output values.
