Whats this all about

You probably wonder why this compass app is showing direction not to the north, why it need to send SMS and read your phone book..

This is outdoors application im developing to help people find their way in a forest, or in a desert, or whatever. For that this application has two useful properties:

It can report your location to someone, so that person can find you
It can show you direction to particular location, so you can reach that place

In fact, it even has some similaities with Global Maritime Distress and Safety System

On the left you can see CC screenshot with "Mini" theme on, on the right you can see Search and Rescue Transponder radar trace (image: Wikipedia).

Its obviously not a GMDSS replacement, as CC never wont be able to meet all the requirements, but... i dont care.

Why its called "compass"?

Magnetic or GPS compass is a side-effect, you can also use this app to figure out direction to north. And this app is need to be somehow searchible in Google Play. Also Jack Sparrow stole my design.

Why "community" compass?

Because title is need to be different from 1000 other compasses in Google Play. Also this compass operates on community stored in your phonebook.
