Invalid CTE on email: binary, using 8bit
Issue #1000
resolved
Hello PosteIO team,
After the last update I’m getting the error “Invalid CTE on email: binary, using 8bit“ while trying to save any configuration in roundcube (the same included on the Docker image)

reporter Thanks SH, it turned out that it had nothing to do with Roundcube, as you said.
The issue was passing from the previous version to the latest, Roundcube was updated, but there wasn’t a trigger for Roundcube’s database to execute the update.
Inside of Poste.io container I had to run
update-roundcube-db –force
Thanks!

I doubt that it is related to Roundcube.I It is an internal warning from Haraka, see https://github.com/haraka/email-message/blob/f54165436918f3f54fc7e007b7c4e3755bd34d7f/index.js#L416
It seems that your emails are somewhat malformed. If you don't have any other problems, I bet you can safely ignore the message.
