Issue #317 resolved

The new System Settings menu with tabbed interface looks great. I have a few suggestions for possible improvements.

  1. Under the System Settings tab, move Relay settings to the Email processing tab and relabel the option Relay Networks (as that is what this is a list of networks permitted to relay email through this mailserver.

  1. Relabel the System Settings tab as Configuration, change the title heading covering the options for Mailserver Hostname and Email to send alerts from its current "System settings" to General.

  1. Move the entire contents of the Cleaning tab, over to the new Configuration tab (formerly System settings) and change the Cleaning heading to Advanced.

  1. For the Advanced items (formerly Cleaning) shorten the textbox and associated description to just Interval (in days). The checkbox descriptions with a little tweaking should be sufficient.

  1. Here are the tweaks for the Advanced (formerly Cleaning) items:

Current: Delete old emails from .Junk or .Trash Suggest: Delete emails from each Email account's .Junk and .Trash older than:

Current: Delete old quarantined emails Suggest: Delete quarantined emails older than:

Current: Delete old DMARC reports Suggest: Delete DMARC reports older than:

Current: Delete old delivery logs Suggest: Delete delivery logs older than:

Current: Delete old auth logs Suggest: Delete user (authentication) logs older than:

As a side note -- I like the new domain info page with the create new email and redirection buttons. Is it possible to incorporate the display of number of email accounts in the the button for showing email accounts?

So for example the button would say Show domain emails (12)

That would consolidate that line back into a single row and clean it up a bit.

Was poking around and noticed a few more in the Relaying limits section:

I'm thinking this is recent bug, because I thought it had said just Per domain.

Additionally, for creating a new entry for any of the options (account, domain, relayed IP) for the following:

The proper terminolgy would be: Daily limit

    Spam & virus checks tab

Swap the placing of DNSBL and Inbound spam check - in other words bring DNSBL to the top so that the order would be:

DNSBL Inbound spam check Outbound spam check Inbound antivirus check Outbound antivirus check

Just cleans up the tab and improves the visible order of the options.
