Redirecting emails is not working

Hi,

since the last update the redirection of emails is not working. I go into an email account and push "Redirect all emails" button. Saving the email address is also working.

I use an email account (allmails@email.com) as a catch-all and everything gets redirected to the email receiver@email.com. And this is not working any more. When I send an email to e.g. anything@email.com this mail should be redirected to receiver@email.com. But everything I got is a message of the server: Recipient anything@email.com has exceeded mailbox limit

But, this is simply not possible as all emails should be straight redirected to receiver@email.com.

Does anyone else does have this bug?

    I am not sure I understand what you mean. You mean that domain-bin(catch-all) is not working as intended?

    Please send me logs to info@poste.io as It doesn't seem that message "Recipient anything@email.com has exceeded mailbox limit" is from poste mailserver

    Hi,

    is there anything new you could tell us? We downgraded last time from v. 2.1.3 where this error occurred back to 2.1.1 and everything went as expected again. On Friday we upgraded to 2.1.4 and now the bug is there again. Could you please check this and publish a fix?

    You mention using the domain email.com which I assume is for example only and changed to protect your privacy. On that understanding, I gather that the domain email.com is configured correctly and MX records are pointed at your poste.io mail server.

    I also gather that reciever@email.com has been setup as an email (mailbox). Are you then using the domain bin (catchall) or have you setup redirects (aliases) for all other email addresses that direct the mail to receiver@email.com???

    Hi Scott,

    all settings are configured correctly as we are using the domain day in and day out sending mails. The account receiver@email.com is an mailbox, and we are using the domain bin for the redirects. But this also is not working when we create an alias for redirections.

    As we are using the domain bin for a client-based filtering (e.g. ibm@email.com, apple@email.com, …) it would be very nice if this would work :) The account receiver@email.com is working as expected, only if we are using a address which should redirect we got the error I posted above.
