Error when activating plugin in WP 4.3

After updating WordPress to 4.3, activating this plugin results in the following error being displayed.

The plugin generated 297 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.

Tested and this no longer returns an error on activation.
