Canonical url & studio (anime)
Hello, im new to this API and it's awesome.
Then, would it be possible to add canonical link in the anime object ?
It's better for me to use the canonical link instead [id] based URL. Canonical link available too on /manga.
Also, i can't find studio info on the anime object (i'm using /2.1/).
Thanks.

Hi,
Thanks for the kind words!
Back to the question. Why do you need canonical links? http://myanimelist.net/anime/21 does also the job.
the names can be replaced with an underscore and it will work for even the sublinks. http://myanimelist.net/anime/21/_/video
Apparently I forgot that studios even exist and didn't included it in the API. Currently we are working on a symfony update and won't add new features for now (it can take months).
Thanks

reporter Thanks for your reply.
It could be a hint that i'm on proper page when opening that link (i need to provide the source link in my apps).
Well, good luck then.
Thanks :)

I'll leave this open for now. It's not a bad idea, but some of the resources we show aren't tied directly to the website. For example, we use the official API (yes, there is one) for grabbing the user's anime and manga lists.
Right now, we're focused on updating our framework and libraries we use to current and supported versions before adding more details to be exposed in the API. This may take a bit to complete. Also, we'll group API field additions together in a new API revision so it may be a while before that is complete once the process starts. Feel free to keep a watch on this issue, as you could always use the development release if you need the new field sooner. We try to keep the development work in a usable state.
