Choose versioning method.

We need to choose a good method for versioning. Maybe a tag/branch with the version number.

I've no idea what would be the best.

Yes, a tag is good, and if we think we'll be maintaining older versions for a while, we could cut a branch for that.

Note that I still don't feel we've reached a point where we can tag and then resume feature development. Got a few bugs to squash and some scalability testing to do.
