Login Verification need better documentation. IE. example or something.

Doesn't say what is input. Even looking at code I wasn't able to figure it out.

We are using http basic auth (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Basic_access_authentication)

"Tests login via credentials passed via HTTP Basic Authentication. Returns a 200 status code if the login was accepted by MyAnimeList, otherwise returns a 401 error code."

You just pass the username and password via basic auth. The result will be if the account credentials are valid or not. It's pretty simple. Social logins don't work as it's not possible to do so.

If you can think of a better way to write an explanation, please do post your thoughts.
