After upgrade to 3.1.3 nFeeds are not working anymore

Issue #34 duplicate
ION Information Systems created an issue

Hi support, We have upgraded Jira version from 5.2.11 to 6.3.10, and consequently TheScheduler plugin from 2.6.4 to 3.1.3 and the nFeed plugin from 4.2.3.7 to 5.2.4.10.

We use nFeed to populate some custom fields like Company with the list or our clients. Basing on the project the issue is being created, the Company field has different values, driven in the nFeed query by the '$issue.project.key' variable. Now our users are not able to create scheduled issues anymore because the Project field is a text in the create form, thus the nFeed can't take the real value, and it is not populated correctly.

I attached 2 screenshots to show you how it looks like in the Scheduler form and in the normal Jira create form.

I understand this issue is related to the interaction between those plugins, but is there anyway I can fix it?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Graziella

I removed the attachments as there is no security level set and every user is able to see the issue. I'll send them separately. Cheers Graziella

    Hi Graziella,

I understood that inf prev version all was worked well. If it worked after update that means the nFeed does not support custom fields beyond ootb screens anymore.

Scheduler does not edit fields. The plugin only copies all fields from creating screen. Probably scheduler copies fields from ootb screens with default values and nFeed is not call by non-default pages containing these fields.

Unfortunately, we can't fix this. In this case, please contact the nFeed team.

    Regards

    Hi,

How can I open an enhancement request? Is there a specific email I have to send my request? Is there a way to ask for a payable enhancement?

    Thanks Graziella
