I've merged pull request #43, instead, which uses "--binary" instead of "--text". I've also released version 4.0.3 to Marketplace with that fix included. Thanks for the contribution, Troy, and for putting in the effort to move this forward!

For Issue #42 Auto unapprove won't work if the new push is for binary file (excel file)
This change implements using the --text flag. It would now treat binary files like text files, but not change the behavior for comparing text files.
