reporter Earlier The extension would activate and I could see the list of issues in the explorer Panel. I was not able to see the details of those issues but there is another issue reported for that behaviour. This issue started coming after the latest update of visual studio code insiders. However however I could not file issue against vs code because there is extension involved in this

I am also facing same issue with vs code insiders( Windows 10) and remote SSH project (Linux). Was working till yesterday.

Something changed in Insiders recently that causes our extension to load locally instead of remotely when doing remote development despite us explicitly setting it to run remotely. I’ve filed an issue with the VS Code team so hopefully we’ll figure out if this is an intentional change we need to accommodate or a bug on their end.

Just making sure I’m reading the information included with your report: you’re developing remotely via SSH?
