If there's any issues performing checks for a broadcast we don't check broadcasts after

If there are any issues encountered while performing checks for a broadcast, we’re not continuing and doing checks for the other broadcasts. For example, if our broadcast configuration has an incorrect external start device specified and we try to access this during start up, the performChecks function will return an error, and we will not continue checking on the other broadcasts. This is not a good behaviour.
