Deluge crashes when fetching torrents

Issue #11 new
Bendik repo owner created an issue

Copied from forum post:

Hi, I have encountered a persistent bug that crashes Deluge on occassion. I believe this happens when the plugin fetches the RSS feed, as this will also happen when manually running the subscription. Pic related is displayed upon crash, along with a runtime error. I should add this has been the case since 1.3.5 on Windows7, and through all versions of YaRSS2 I have used.

    Hi

Can you try v1.4.3 and disable log output in the message log panel? This could be one reason for crashes of the GUI.

I might have the same problem, but it only crashes occasionally when I run a subscription manually:

    After that, Deluge freezes.

I tried to enable Deluge logging, but the only relevant thing I got, was shown in the console output:

    Gdk:ERROR:gdkregion-generic.c:1110:miUnionNonO: assertion failed: (y1 < y2)

    I am running

    • Deluge 1.3.12
    • YaRSS2 1.4.3
    • Python 2.7.3
    • on 64bit Windows 7

The same issue was already with YaRSS2 1.3.3.

If by that you mean uncheck "Show log messages" under the "Message Log" tab, then no, this doesn't prevent the crash.
