Torrent files served with compression don't work
Issue #21
new
Certain servers are misconfigured to serve .torrent files with HTTP compression (Content-Encoding: gzip
) even though the request does not have Accept-Encoding: gzip
.
This breaks YaRSS with the error
Unable to decode torrent file! (invalid bencoding) URL: ...
YaRSS should be able to deal with compressed torrent files.

reporter Yes. If I download the torrent file with my browser and manually add to Deluge, it works fine.
Also, if I put the downloaded torrent file on my own HTTP server and create an RSS feed that points to it, YaRSS works.
-
repo owner I meant if you insert the url of the torrent into the URL field in the Add Torrent dialog in deluge.
-
reporter Yes, that works.
-
repo owner Do you have a link to an RSS feed I can test?
-
repo owner Can you try again with the latest version (1.4.2)?

Do these torrents work if added directly to Deluge?
