Fetching entries

An important function of the BibSonomy plugin for JabRef is to fetch BibTeX entries from our social bookmarking site http://www.bibsonomy.org. This can either be done in user or world mode. In the user mode, you can fetch all entries and tags of your private collection; in the world mode, you can fetch public tags and entries from all users.

Fetching entries with the tag cloud

The plugin provides you a tag cloud with the most used tags by you, all users or a certain group you are a member of. Reloading the tagcloud can be achieved by clicking on the Refresh button on the lower side of the BibSonomy sidebar.

By clicking on a specific tag you can fetch the entries for this tag and manage which entries should be imported to JabRef.

Searching

If you want to search for tags or specific words you can use the controls of the Search group. Just enter some words, select the type of the search and hit the search button.
