Layout switch for all users

Please enable the layout switch for all users. Or do we remove the old layout completly?

We should have it enabled for everybody. We can then see, how many active users use which layout and after some time decide how to proceed.

This mean that already registered users should keep the status quo and new users should get the new layout?

I would say that's another issue to be discussed but it would be a good test to see how many users switch. Before login they would see the new layout, when the login, the old layout appears. They will wonder and ask why this happened (if they don't know that the layout can be choosen). So it would be nice to show them a hint how they can switch to the new layout.

such a hint is needed. Could be a general hint, if the user logs in and has the old layout, the hint pops up.
