updateUserSettings: switching to German causes Error

When making changes on the "layout of your tag box and post lists" in German, clicking on "set layout" redirects you to an English page. Switching back to German causes an Error.

The language is changed according to the entry "language" in the "layout of your tag box and post lists" menu. The user is then redirected to '/updateUserSettings' where changing the language via the links in the header causes an error message as no valid ckey is set.
