Grab cover image an use url to image in og:image

It's basically all in the title: If you could somehow make it so that the og:image meta tag would contain the url to the (optional) post cover photo... we'd love this!

I'm sorry, but I don't really understand what you're saying.

I understand that you want the meta tag with the property og:image and the value to be picked up as the cover photo, is that right?

The current method of uploading a photo directly within ghost seems to be easier solution compared to writing an entire meta tag in html and may not be as friendly to layman users.
