Our Mark I scout car is a robotic car based on the SunFounder Car Kit for the Raspberry Pi. It can be used as a reconnaissance vehicle in milsim scenarios or as an affordable development platform for hacking on Conreality.
Components
Our recommended, known-good reference configuration is the following:
- 1× Ground Vehicles: SunFounder Car Kit (MSRP $94.99)
- 1× Main Boards: Raspberry Pi 3 (MSRP $35)
- 1× Camera Modules: (included in vehicle frame kit)
- 2× Battery: Generic 3.7V 18650 rechargeable Li-ion battery (MSRP $6+)
- 1× Storage Card: Generic 4GB+ microSDHC or microSDXC card (MSRP $3+)
Note that you can fairly easily substitute Supported Hardware than the Raspberry Pi 3. If you choose to do so, adapt the firmware installation instructions that follow accordingly.
