Setting for Character Limit on Justification Fields

Issue #32 resolved

We have been asked whether it is possible to add a setting for a character limit on justification fields to prevent students writing too much. If that can be easily applied to the maxlenght of the form input without incurring additional cost (being outside the spec) we would like that adding. Is that viable?

Sure, we can add a maxlength to the textareas. Would you please confirm which values would be the default for this new setting? Does it need to have an admin default as well?

My feeling is that we could simply enforce the justification for all uses to the size of a tweet, in order to avoid yet another setting. What do you think?

Hi, I think an admin setting for the default which could be overridden by a teacher in the specific instance would be the best approach.

The default value could be 280 characters which I think is the Twitter limit?

I would be inclined to leave it flexible as a setting as opposed to imposing a hard coded constraint.

My reply here is already at three hundred and ninety eight characters :p
