Add paper type 'Roll - 36"& 'Roll - 44" to 'Create Layout' paper size picklist Add any other Ansi roll widths for plotters to paper size picklist.

This will set the width, the length will be determined by the resulting layout, with addition of a bottom margin.

Current realization of the algorithm doesn't allow use such a paper size. Instead user can experiment with paper length. Or we could cut empty fields like in GIMP.

I have a 44" plotter, currently it has 36" paper in it.

A0 is 33.1in wide A20 is 46.8in wide

I speak about GIMP's Autocrop Image feature. We could make a checkbox for cropping only empty length or use this option automatically if user select types 'Roll - 36"& 'Roll - 44". But i still can't make paper size resizable. Technically we don't need this, because real paper never has infinite length.

• 24" x 150'
• 30" x 150'

• 36" x 500'
• 42" x 150'

But i don't see here 44".

I was wondering if there were metric roll sizes.

So the list could include Roll 24", Roll 30", Roll 36", Roll 42", Roll 44" We could arbitrarily determine that 10ft or 3m is the maximum length of a layout on roll paper, and then use the autocrop function.

Why determine at all?

Ok, i will take 10ft for all sizes, but user will be able to extend this value.
