Save valentina.exe Path Preferences to a file accessible by tape.exe
On Ubuntu 14.04 64 bit laptop, on build 16c6c5c543e0 dated 2015/09/10:
When creating a new individual measurements file with 'Measurements, CreateNew' and selecting 'SaveAs' the dialog box prompts with a directory that is not from the Valentina Preferences Path for Individual Measurements.
My 'File, Preferences, Paths, Individual Measurements' directory is '/home/susan/valentina/measurements/' but 'SaveAs' dialog box opens '/home/susan/'
If this data were written to a text file which is readable by tape.exe, then the 'SaveAs' box could open to my preferred directory.
It is important for users to have a consistent experience between valentina.exe and tape.exe, and giving tape.exe access to valentina preferences data will provide consistency in directory and dialog defaults.

repo owner This is not a bug. The application Tape doesn't know about that path. The app use own path variable. It's independent application and don't have access to Valentina's config file.

By design.

reporter Couldn't valentina.exe save the path data to a text file so that tape.exe can read it? This would be a big issue for users.
-
repo owner It's possible.
-
repo owner Rewrite the task.
