I send you the reel file who's lost "erreur critique"
Working on valentina 0.4.3.0, Windows 10 (Windows 8)
Step : when i work " Mode for working for detail" - delect "union detail" after "sauvegarde" File lost "Error" imposible to open... How i can resolve it ?
PS/ it's frenquently on draw mode too. if i delect after "sauvegarde"... who whant delect curve, point...union etc

Hi Claudia,
This file can now be opened in Valentina version 0.4.3, your version The name of the file shows that it is in pattern file format version 0.2.4
This doesn't solve the problem but it does return most of your work. I removed an object and all referenced to it from the pattern.

So the problem is why didn't lines 57 through 61 work, what was wrong with them?

when i work on "mode for creating a layout of detail" sometimes i can have "pieces" i have delecte on "mode detail"... for 8 pieces on mode detail i can have two in double "mode plan de coupe" ... or these piece aren't visible on mode detail... so it's pity we can't move pieces on "mode for creating a layout of detail" sometimes the placement isn't good...

The Layout shows all the pieces - including the smaller ones that were combined with the Union tool. Hmmm. This may be the way the program works. The Union tool would need an option to select if the original pieces should be replaced or retained. Roman, what do you think?

Sorry : quand je passe en mode plan de coupe, j'ai des pièces en double, certain pièce que j'avais supprimé en "mode détail" sont dans le plan de coupe... désolée je m'exprime mal en anglais.

The original pieces that were combined to create a 'Union' piece are included in the Layout. She doesn't need the original pieces.
I think some people will need those pieces, so maybe we need a check box in Union Tool to keep the original pieces.

oui exacte susan, et si possible le fait de déplacé les pièces en mode plan de coupe, après je connais pas trop les logiciel de Cao modélisme vêtement mais valentina est déjà un bijou il faut peu etre l'améliorer un tout petit peu pour pas perdre spontanément le travail, je vais tester les patron une fois terminés pour voir le rendue en réel

Hello all,
I also discovered that the file seems to no longer be readable after using the union tool. If I draw a pattern, make details, and save it like that, everything is fine. When I use the union tool though, save the file, close it and try to reopen it, I get the error "QObject::connect: invalid null parameter". The same thing happens when I use the union tool but undo the union step and then save it.
I would also like to have the choice whether I see the original pieces or not after using the union tool!

Oh no, I don't need help with my files, I always make a million backups. It was just to help fix the bug for the next version, because it's a big problem, at least for me!

j'ai une petite question : Si je souhaite installer le logiciel Valentina v.0.4.4 sur ma tablette samsung tab 2, qu'elle fichier je droit télécharger ? Je n'arrive pas a ouvrir v.0.4.4 .exe sur ma tablette... (ce serait une bonne chose pour travailler dans le train au lieu de ramener le PC)

claudia, unfortunately creating Android port will require full GUI redesign for supporting sensor screens. So, right now this is not possible.
