Improve export: upgrade to DXF r14 format
Export patterns to AutoCad's open data format DXF r14 to allow sending patterns directly to laser cutters.
Currently users must save their patterns as SVG, import into Inkscape, convert to DXF. They print from within Inkscape directly to the fabric cutter.
Attached is the Inkscape extension which converts the image on the SVG canvas into DXF r14.

reporter This is rather important for sending files to cutting tables. Should we bump the priority?

repo owner The best way to handle this situation is to understand DXF specification. Because now we depend on not very active projects. Especially because we need only subset of whole new DXF specification.
Also we can't add the bug to 0.5.0. It is almost feature freeze and i begun cleaning code. Waiting only Bojan and will announce feature freeze.

reporter Agreed, not for 5.0.
