Tiles with photo: no progess

Hi David,

thank you for this great plugin and for your awesome work!

I just testet the Version 3.7.0.8 (RC) with Moodle 3.5.6.

Problem:

  • if a tile is using a photo, there the progress is not displayed

    Hi Christian thanks for testing and for your useful feedback on this and other tickets.

    The progress indicator on a photo tile is something which I am planning to include, but decided not to put in the first release of “photo tiles” given the time available. The main reason was that, although I could think of a few ways to display it, each had their own complications (e.g. solid background would obscure photo, transparent background may not contrast well with photo - you can’t predict if photo will be light or dark, hover only isn't great). So I decided to publish without for now, and come back to it later.

    thank you for your fast fixes of the other tickets. Great!

    Concerning the photo tiles and the progress:

    1. Idea: same style as for the section title within the tile
    2. Idea: a progress bar at the bottom of the photo tile
