Headless Firmware Flash Instructions

For UP2 web controller hardware (mini computer).

1. Disconnect power from the web controller hardware via the barrel jack.

2. Plug in the firmware USB drive.

   

3. Apply power to the web controller. Ensure the Blue Power LED turns on:

   

4. Wait for the blue power LED to turn off, this should take approximately 5 minutes.

5. If after 15 minutes the power LED is not off there is likely a problem and this flash procedure will not work, contact engineering.
6. Disconnect power from the web controller hardware via the barrel jack.

7. Remove the Firmware USB drive and plug in the BIOS configuration USB dongle:

   

8. Apply power to the web controller.

9. The system will now automatically configure the bios.
10. Wait about 3 minutes. The web controller will reboot (power LED blink off) twice this is normal and can be ignored.
11. Remove the BIOS configuration USB dongle.
12. Once the web controller is accessible via a computer setup proceed with standard chamber configuration setup.
