Hard To Track Subler Crash

Issue #418 closed

So I've been driving myself crazy trying to narrow down the reason Subler has been crashing for me. In Issue #401, I brought it to your attention and I think I've somewhat narrowed it down to some kind of issue with Artwork & Metadata retrieval.

When I'm adding several files to the queue manually, the crash always happens when I add metadata and artwork and send to the queue. If I simply add the files to the queue immediately after choosing my options in the import window with no metadata or artwork, the crash never happens.

Many times, the crash happens immediately after I pop over to the artwork pane to double check that the correct artwork was downloaded. The crash also never happens on the first file, but always happens as another file is already processing in the queue (the 2nd or 3rd file usually, as I rarely get that far before the crash).

I've resorted to processing files in the queue first, and then adding the metadata and artwork to the resulting M4V afterwards. A tedious process.

This bug has been in the last few releases, but I'm super committed to help in finding it and getting rid of it as it's driving me insane.

Can you upload the crash somewhere else? Bitbucket doesn't seem to work well with your attachment.

So, I've had zero crashes with the previous test version or the new test version, with the exception of that one crash on my second machine (which I'm gonna chalk up to a fluke). So I think maybe this bug can be closed for now.

BTW, were you able to get any useful info from either crash log?
