Release date is always one day before the one I entered when i "Saved as..." a file

Issue #551 resolved
Christophe Ayer created an issue

Hi, I have Subler set to create a title file with the release date+name in preferences.

As soon as I “Save as…” my file, it creates the file with a title with the wrong date (always one day before the one I added in the metadada).

It’s kinda annoying cause all the efforts to add the correct dates fail as the title won’t reflect the right one.

I tried to use “purchase date” instead … and it works correctly. The right date is right in the title.

So this is note cause I enter the date in a bad way.

There’s something buggy about “Release date” always being wrong when I save a file (every time, then!).

And setting title file created by Subler to make it more easily friendly ruin the pleasure as it bugs with every release date.

Thank you (and sorry for my english)

    Hi Damiano,

    Paris time.

I always work on my videos at night time. It’s still the same day in US.

Isn’t it supposed to just take the info I entered in the “release date” line in my medatatas when it creates the title of the file ?

No, the release date contains the time zone too. Can’t remember which one, probably GMT.

Hi- Just installed the last version and the problem is not fixed. I open my file. Insert metadata inside, including a release date, add pics etc… then I go to the SAVE AS option .. And according to my preferences it creates a title for the file, release date + name + cast. And it always change my release date to the day before the one I added in the metadata. The last build don’t fix the problem on my Mac.

You’ll have to find a reliable way to reproduce the issue, because I can’t right now.
