Decimal notation with E

Issue #896 duplicate
Former user created an issue

In my version a number like 5e3 is OK, but 5e-3 uses 'e = 2.718...' and outputs 2.43656366. This is true for any number with negative exponent. However a result of a computation ending with a negative exponent is correct.

It's been fixed in trunk already, so it should work with developments builds. There's none for Mac OS, so you'll probably have to wait for the next release (or build one by yourself).

BTW, about your bug description, it is (2e)-3 which is equal to 2,43656366, not (5e)-3.
