    Actually okay. Grouping the slot selection and item selection into one global undo point is much worse. Leads to lots of undo points because REAPER's undo-point-reduction mechanism doesn't apply.

    re #191 Make deferToMainThreadIfInOtherThread() work without freezing by executing the stuff in the same thread but not before it releases the current lock - prevents deadlocks effectively
