It would be cool to be able to trigger automation envelopes (e.g. cutoff frequency rising and falling within 2 measures) exactly like MIDI and audio clips. Depends on #7.

    See #7. The next release of REAPER will make this possible by allowing CCs in MIDI items to control track FX parameters.
