Problems when Links Hierarchy plugin is installed

Issue #46 resolved
Mark Symons created an issue

Code Syntax Highlighting within JIRA Agile Plan/Work mode can be seen to work great with Chrome v34.

However, it is not working properly when using Firefox v29.0.1

When Issue A is selected the code fragment is rendered without any syntax highlighting. Clicking on Issue B will cause the syntax highlighting for Issue A to display for a fraction of a second. Then Issue B is rendered - without syntax highlighting. One can then see the Issue B highlighting (for a fraction of a second) by selecting Issue A again (or selecting any other issue).

Many thanks for reporting! Which version of JIRA Agile / JIRA are you using? Are you using Firefox on Windows?

I am using JIRA Agile v6.3.13.0 on JIRA v6.2.3, and viewing the issues with Firefox on Windows (both Windows XP and Windows 7).

I do think that I have now found an underlying correlation.... Syntax Highlighting does work normally. It only fails to work when the Links Hierarchy Plugin is also enabled. Using v3.4.12 of LH Plugin.

I am currently working on a major change switching from JavaScript/client side to Java/server side syntax highlighting. This will fix #42, #48 (problems with certain browser versions), #44 (syntax highlighting in activity streams) and #45 (syntax highlighting in emails), #46 and #47 (interference with other plugins like Links Hierarchy and JEMH using regex JS lib).

Would you be able to test a beta release of this plugin?

Version 2.0.0-beta1 is now available for download here.

Please raise an issue here, if you find any problems or bugs.

Currently brushes for Objectiv-C, TCL, Gherkin and D are missing, but will be delivered as part of 2.0.0-beta2 resp. the final release.

    Best regards, Holger
