inconsistent default stretch behaviour

Wenn ich ein Bild per drag and drop  in ein neues leeres map window ziehe wird automatisch eine Kontraststreckung angewendet. Wenn ich das Bild per Rechtsklick und open in new map window öffne passiert das (leider) nicht, sondern es erfolgt eine Darstellung vom min bis max Wert.
