Missing package warning - false alarm due to gdal?

Although all packages are installed, after fresh Box installation the missing packages dialog show up.
The package installer then shortly shows gdal as missing, but after scanning no package is missing.

should be fixed now after I changed the module to test for from "gdal" to "osgeo.gdal"
