This toolbox is a set of Matlab based tools for the analysis of functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS). This toolbox defines the +nirs namespace and includes a series of tools for signal processing, display, and statistics of fNIRS data. This toolbox is built around an object-oriented framework of Matlab classes and namespaces. This code is provided As-Is and is in a constant state of improvement. We welcome suggestions and error-reports, but due to very limited resources to support this program, we may not be able to accommodate all requests.
This toolbox requires a licensed version of Matlab vs 2014a or later. Many features will not work on older versions of matlab due to some major changes in the program related to graphics handles and the introduction of several new object classes. Specifically, several of the core data classes and methods make use of some of these newer matlab structures such as the datastruct and table classes. In addition, several Matlab toolboxes including the statistics, signal processing, and report generator are also used in this code.
