Hi,
After my n00bishness not realising there was a checkbox to show videos by default I have a couple of suggestions re making this better.
1) Have the Autoplay videos on by default as I would expect that most users with videos would want them playing
2) Rather than a black box when this option is not selected, I would propose something that (a) looks better and (b) is more indicative of what is there, such as the attached - surround the video with a defining box and add a "play" indicator.
3) Could there be an option to play the video without sound?

It's based in BigBox, but it can easily be applied to LaunchBox too. Generally more requests per ticket mean they can get lost easily though.

Don't worry about the amount of tickets. :P As long as you try and search and you made an effort I don't mind how many you make.

The box and the play button is deceivingly simple actually. The play button icon would only work for VLC though, WMP playback engine requires a right click -> play if auto-play is turned off.
As for the default setting, I might make a feature specific tutorial about video that way people have reference, but I am unsure if Jason would want to change the default. The choice is up to the user though and I think the choice to not auto-play was a concious decision.
Either way, don't forget to vote on your own tickets, or other tickets you like on the right hand side of these pages. :P
