searching for OpenOffice attachements content

Hi

I have tested searching for OpenOffice(LibreOffice) attachements and failed - I have attached pure .odt file. While I check extract.c source file odt extension is not mentioned

The odt extension is mentioned in parser_utils.c Since all odf files are zipped xmls they are referenced as odf. If this email contains no secret, could you forward it to me for inspection? Btw. has this email got a similar utf8 encoded filename as it's mentioned in issue #50?

after second test - it works. The point was that I made first attempt at night and I haven't spot that MailPiler search only for full words. I was querying for 'office' while the file contained word openoffice

next exercises about sphinx...

OK :-) Well, sphinx might able to find even those word fragments, too. Please see http://sphinxsearch.com/docs/2.0.6/conf-min-infix-len.html for details. Note that making sphinx to create and index even word fragments will cause the sphinx 'dictionary' to be larger and probably somewhat slower.
