Windows installer installs libraries incorrectly

Certainly an issue because the libraries are installed in the lib instead of the bib folder, while only the bin folder is added to the path.

Possibly an issue (on older windows systems) that the path might become too large. Only solution is to install in a shorter path.

That is not an idp problem? The path is eclipse/idp3/bin, so it should just not be installed in a path that is too long already...
